In February 2025, a controversy reached Pahariya, when he got involved in an incident with stand-up comedian Pranit More. He was reportedly assaulted after a show in Solapur Maharashtra by some fans of Pahariya. It follows that the attackers aimed More because he made jokes about Veer. Also, one attacker reportedly warned him, ‘Agli Baar Veer baba pe joke maar ke dikha!’ 

Pranit was injured in the assault and his team blamed the lack of enough security measures at 24K Kraft Brewzz where the assault took place. Also, the management had denied them access to CCTV footage and they had not received police help. 

Pahariya reacted in shock and sadness to the incident and called unequivocally that he was not involved in the attack. He also expressed strongly his firm condemnation of all forms of violence. Calling himself a history of being able to withstand criticism in stride, he apologized to More and said no one deserves such treatment.
